Rebel Sport Shipping Methods and Costs

Depending on the item(s) you purchase on rebelsport.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, shipping times and costs will differ for each order.

A flat rate of $10 will be charged for all standard product orders placed on-line for delivery within Australia.

The courier company we use is Australian Air Express (AAE) and everything thing is shipped via a standard delivery, which is a delivery time of up to 3 days after dispatch for standard items.

When placing your order please choose a suitable shipping address as our courier requires a signature upon delivery of all parcels unless Authority to Leave is selected. A work address (please include company name) or an address that someone will be at the whole day is best as AAE deliver during business hours only. Any attempted delivery with no-one to sign will result in a card being left for you to contact the courier to either organize a new delivery or a pick up from their depot or local Australia Post Office.

Authority to Leave

At the checkout page of the website you can give “authority to leave” of the parcel if there will be no-one available to sign for the package. If you mark Authority to leave at the Checkout and give clear instructions of where to leave your parcel the courier will do their best to follow these instructions. If the courier deems the authority to leave as an unsafe area to leave the parcel they may leave a card and return the parcel to the AAE depot. If authority to leave is selected and the parcel is left by the courier we (Rebel Sport) hold no responsibility if the parcel then goes missing from the shipping address, selection of authority to leave is deemed as a signature of the recipient.

Bulky items

At checkout, you will be notified of shipping costs for your approval, these are calculated automatically by the site in accordance with our courier companies (AAE) freight charges. Bulky items are those with either a high weight or large cubic volume, products are allocated as bulky as determined by the shipping methods of AAE. Anything over 5kg in weight or cubic volume will be marked as a bulky item. Bulky items are only available for shipping within Australia, some islands of Australia will be exempt from bulky items and all customers will be notified if we are unable to deliver items due to delivery restrictions.

Exercise Equipment Delivery and/or Installation

Certain product vendors provide an installation service for their exercise equipment. During the Checkout process you have the option to select Installation for certain pieces of exercise equipment (treadmills, bikes etc). With this option you will not be quoted a delivery fee at the checkout, you will be contacted by a Rebel Sport customer service representative by the next business day to discuss installation costs. Once the quote is approved we will complete your order and you will be contacted by the technician to organize a suitable time for the delivery/installation to be completed, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. Installations will only occur on week days and generally during business hours unless otherwise organized with the technician.

Important Details for Deliveries

  • All orders without authority to leave will require a signature upon delivery. Rebel Sport does not take responsibility for any delays caused by no-one being present at the time of delivery.
  • Where possible use a work address for the shipping address as all deliveries will occur during business hours. Please ensure you include the Company name as well as your own to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Shipping to a PO box is possible, but items must fit within Australia Posts maximum parcel size, 105cm length and 140cm Girth. Anything outside these dimensions will be rejected by the Post Office and returned to Rebel Sport.

Reasons for order delays

  • Incorrect address or address with no-one to sign for parcel
  • Incorrect Credit Card information, please double check all details at time of order as you will only be charged once the order is ready to ship.
  • Personal detail confirmation for fraud prevention, sometimes we will require personal detail verification before dispatching orders to protect the card holder, this may delay shipping.
  • Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we will need to re-order from our suppliers.

If your order will be delayed for any reason rebelsport.com staff will contact you directly via phone and or email to advise of the delay.
